Robbin's recently installed a 9.6kW solar array on our home with an authentic Spanish clay tile roof. I came across a neighbors home with a sign posting Robbin's claim " Get Solar for Half the Price of the Big Guys" . I give them five stars for doing exactly what they claim. The process was painless with respect to being provided a Qoatation Document that illustrated the panel locations as laid out onto your roof, each panels performance specifications, design criteria, such as what components are recommended to maximize the efficiency of converting DC current into AC current supplied to the home. This document also includes estimations for how much the system generates per month e.g., Robbin's estimate for our system for the month of November is 31.7 kWh/day and, so far we've been averaging around 32.5 kWh/day. Also, there's an Electricity Bill Savings page breaking down the amount of energy your obtaining from the "grid" vs. the amount generated by your system which, if your energy provider is PG&E it's an ever increasing rate. The real value Robbin's afford their customers is transparency of the charges/cost that are laid open for all to see. The quotation breaks out the equipment cost (solar components e.g., solar panels roof mounting hardware, rails, panel fasteners, etc. ) from the System price which is the labor and electrical components cost to install the system. There's a price item that is broken out used to process the design diagrams for submittal process to obtain all relevant permits/inspection for the proposed system.

As a retired professional (architect) I'm very pleased to say that Robbin's has come through with their claim. They're very competent in what they do, professional in their willingness to accommodate any request I made along the process, no matter how trivial my request. I highly recommend them.

Robbins Renewables is a great trustworthy company. It’s a small family business , but let me tell you. Theyre keeping up with the Big GUYS. certified, Responsive and respectful, Great work guys! And they really know what their doing.  Great Pricing . They hooked up my 60 gallon Quincey Compressor (230v 1phase)  GREAT INSTALL. Oh forgot to mention, SAME DAY ESTIMATE AND INSTALL . hard to beat. 👍

Robbins is Fantastic! Mike does it all. From CAD drawing the solar plans, getting required permits and doing the installations personally. Don’t go with a company that “sells” you a solar system then hands it off to someone else to install. 

Go with a true licensed and certified electrician who handles your job from start to finish.

There is nothing special about solar. I gathered several quotes and boiled them down to cost per watt. Robbins came out as a comfortable middle ground. Michael and his team were very professional, punctual and works fast. I'm happy with our installation and recommend them.

Robbins Renewables installed my EV charger on a 60 amp breaker for half of what everyone else was charging,  in one case it was 1/4 the cost! He does awesome work and it looks really clean. Most electricians are trying to price gouge people (the tesla tax) but Robbins is doing honest work which is hard to find these days.

Robbins did an excellent job installing a 7.2kwh solar system at my house. I got several estimates, five from SunPower and their knockoff companies. The most expensive was $34,000 for a 5.5 KW system, the least expensive was 20,000 for a 4.5 KW system. Robbins was able to beat both estimates by quite a bit. I also had a couple estimates from two local private companies, one was quite expensive, the other wanted to change out my sub panel box in my shop and my 200 amp box of my house. Robbins was able to utilize my sub panel in my shop with no problems. 

I would very much recommend anybody to hire Robbins to install their solar system at their residence.
